LG have announced that they will stop manufacturing solar panels.
Here is the LG Solar statement explaining their decision

LG has recently made the difficult decision to close its solar panel busines to focus on other businesses that will provide new experiences and value for our customers. Our solar panel products will cotninue to be available for a period of time, depending on our solar partner’s supply circumstances.
LG Electronics Australia will continue to provide warranty and after sales suppor for LG solar panels for the warranty period and in accordance with applicable regulation. We want to thank you for your loyalty and upport of LG solar panel products. We hope that you will embrace our other smart technologies, as LG continues to deliver a wide range of innovative products and services that will make life better.
